Originally released in 1994 on Au Go Go and Munster Records, '10% Weird' is widely regarded as The Meanies defining album. Recorded in Seattle and spawning the singles 'Conan', '10% Weird' and 'Ton Of Bricks', the release of the '10% Weird' saw The Meanies become one of the Australia's most popular alternative bands through the mid-90's. As well as scoring supports with the likes of Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Superchunk and Fugazi during this exciting period, The Meanies touring ethic was also largely responsible for cultivating a large All Ages punk / rock scene across Australia.
