"Land Of The Lost" bridged the gap between The Freeze's signature Boston hardcore/punk style and a more rock 'n' roll sound they employed later in their careers. They still have the punk enthusiasm as in previous releases and use some songs on this recording as scathing criticisms of that period's Boston hardcore scene.
