Ken Mode already begun to create a big buzz when the Canada-based band toured Europe with Welsh rockers TAINT as well as KYLESA and CIRCLE TAKES THE SQUARE. Previous album “Venerable” (2011) also won the inaugural Heavy Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year Juno Award in Canada and a nomination for Rock Album of the Year by the Western Canadian Music Awards. Now the trio founded by Royal Conservatory of Music trained brothers Jesse Matthewson (vocals / guitar) and Shane Matthewson (drums) is ready for the next great step. Ken Mode’s fifth full-length “Entrench” proudly preserves their acclaimed metallic Post-Hardcore severity, while offering their most creative and sonically diverse album at the same time – to which famed producer Matt Bayles (MASTODON, ISIS, BOTCH) added a massive punch. Formed in 1999, Ken Mode have shared stages with THE END, MASTODON, BURNT BY THE SUN, PELICAN, THE DREAM IS DEAD and GAZA among others.
