After years of hard work and underground success, Horsell Common are set to release their long awaited debut album The Rescue
In Winter 2007, Horsell Common finally settled to write and record the debut album that will capture what the band has been working towards for close four years. Catching the ear of US producer Stephen Haigler (The Pixies, Quicksand, Brand New), the band enlisted the veteran to help produce and mix the album in Melbourne with the help of Richard Stolz. The process was as intense as it was rewarding, with the band finishing 11 of the most diverse and inspired tracks they have ever penned. The final result is the bands distinctive battle-cry, hereby known as The Rescue.
