Crying would not be possible without the power of nostalgia. The New York based band is a blend of all things old school: they mix an understated, '90s emo influence, the spirit of punk in their original vision and, most notably, the prominent use of a Nintendo Gameboy programmed into their songs. This first release on Run For Cover includes the critically-acclaimed self-released EP "Get Olde" and a new set of songs on the EP "Second Wind." All 13 songs have an upbeat eloquence, but the highlight of the album is vocalist Elaiza Santos, who beautifully navigates through the unpredictable grooves of each song and makes herself the centerpiece of the soundtrack.
