Uncool, unknown, and unabashed Ceres play anthemic, beautifully constructed pop with a dark edge, often hitting so perfectly right to the gut. But the difference with this record is in its execution. Recorded to tape at Sing Sing Studios in their hometown of Melbourne, I Dont Want To Be Anywhere But Here is a band at their most inspired, and blissfully unguarded all the same.
