Debut 7" from this new London band. These songs were originally featured on an extremely limited demo cassette, but Quality Control HC has taken the three best songs from this tape and had them mastered at Abbey Road studios, giving them even more impact than they had before. As for the sound, it's kind of melancholic, slightly melodic HC with a lady vocalist. Ola at QCHC compares Shame to Vice Squad, but honestly these three songs are better than pretty much anything Vice Squad ever did. In addition to that UK82 and HC influence, I also hear a bit of the darker, more TSOL-inspired moments of the Adolescents / Rikk Agnew. As with all of Quality Control HC's releases, this one features superior sound and gorgeous packaging include a high-gloss 7" pocket sleeve.
