The EP's title track "I Will Go" is a pop rocker that sounds inspired by Roy Orbison and especially recalls Orbison's work with the Traveling Wilburys. With the Orbison influence in place it's no surprise then that Adkins goes back to the same era for a take on The Everly Brothers chestnut "Give Me a Sweetheart" where he multi-tracks his vocals to simulate the brothers' famed harmonies while adding fuzzed-out guitar to temper the sweetness a bit.
