Drawing sonically from Supertouch and later-era Bold and Turning Point, Wilkes-Barre, PA's Consolation Prize make their debut with five songs of melodic, rocked-out hardcore. Well-written, catchy and aggressive, this self-titled EP from members of Stick Together and Cold World is a sound much welcomed.
