The debut album from 1986 from one of a wave of bands that fused heavy metal with hardcore punk into a hyperelectric mix filled with energy and spirit. Based in New York, they were part of a burgeoning scene in the mid-late 1980s that took root on the Lower East Side that regularly gigged in clubs like the legendary A7 and CBGBs.
Alongside peers like Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Suicidal Tendencies and D.R.I., Crumbsuckers sat at the forefront of the Eighties hardcore-punk and crossover thrash movement, their 1986 debut, Life of Dreams, cemented their place in heavy-music history.
