Rising from the Adelaide hardcore scene in early 2003, Cry Murder played their first show alongside Day Of Contempt, I Killed The Prom Queen And Parkway Drive. Since then Cry Murder has supported bands such as As I Lay Dying, Hatebreed, Bleeding Through, Most Precious Blood And Devolved.
The sound that Cry Murder have created has been influenced by earlier bands like Fear Factory, Hatebreed, Sepultura, Earth Crisis and more recent bands such as Killswitch Engage, Bleeding Through and Unearth.
