During the '80s, the good folks at Flipside Video documented live shows of many of punk's top bands (which is a good thing, since many have long since disbanded). The 2001 DVD release The Best of Flipside Video, Vol. 1 collects four sets from some of the genre's finest -- Bad Religion, the Circle Jerks, the Weirdos, and the Dickies -- all recorded in small venues during the middle of the decade.
