Silent Treatment is the third studio album from Tucson, AZs The Bled. This time the band moved up to Baltimore, MD to work with producer extraordinaire Brian McTernan (Thrice, Circa Survive, From Autumn To Ashes). Having more time to write and record than albums past, the band really took advantage and have delivered one of the most fiery, brutal records of the year. The bands previous effort, 2005s Found in the Flood, saw the band expanding their sound and pushing the envelope. Silent Treatment is more of a retreat back to their earlier recordings, which featured stripped-down, raw energy and massive riffage. Despite that, the band also found ways to use some of their experimental edge to create some of the most unique songs found in heavy music today.
