From the Very Start of "Tropical Jinx," it's clear there is nothing little about the band or this, their second full-length album. The brutally honest lyrics of guitarist/vocalist Michelle Zauner are one of the album's undeniable high points: the confessions and confrontations about dealing with family life, relationships and personal failure are both relatable and cathartic. This album is an homage to the best moments of alternative rock with the spirit of Philadelphia DIY. Since the release of their last full-length the band have toured with Seahaven, Adventures and Foxing. Vinyl version includes digital download.
