"Hush Money" is the fist release from Hawks And Doves, the brainchild of ten-year Planes Mistaken For Stars member Gared O'Donnell, which takes cues from the closing track on the final Planes Mistaken For Stars album, with a more hushed, intimate approach to the music, while maintaining the signature gruff vocals and heavy, dirty melody Planes Mistaken For Stars became known for. The B-side to "Hush Money" is a haunting version of Bruce Springsteen's "I'm On Fire."
