EPICS is a new Sydney punk band that started last year with friends and members from existing bands getting together to jam their favorite Black Flag songs. The idea was for a light hearted party band. After a couple of get togethers a batch of original songs appeared. The songs are short and very simple and reflect the bands moto Only the Good Bits! Knife Skills is the bands first release (on CD and 12 vinyl). Recorded over a weekend and played live with usually 1 take we tried to capture the feel of the early 80s hardcore bands. Members are Nick (Nice Guys) vocals, Jay (Between the Devil & the Deep) bass, Jimmy (Grand Fatal) guitar, and Tom (Lungs) drums.
