Since forming in 1990, Converge have climbed to the top of the heap of bands playing noisy, metallic hardcore, singlehandedly blazing a path that hundreds of bands would attempt to follow. "Axe To Fall" could be Converge's most straightforward album, but refuses to dull down, with all of the same mind-blowing riffs, incredible drumming and howled vocals fans of the band have come to love.
