Originally intended as a one-off studio project, put together by long time friends Joey Cape (Lagwagon front-man), former Lagwagon drummer Derrick Plourde, and Marko 72 (Sugarcult guitarist), Bad Astronaut currently find themselves releasing their third album, TWELVE SMALL STEPS, ONE GIANT DISAPPOINTMENT. TWELVE SMALL STEPS, ONE GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT trades in a bit of the experimental focus of the last full length for a more straight forward rock approach. Fear not, for Bad Astronat continue to put their own twist on indie rock with the use of wide array of instruments, utilizing everthing from Cello to Timbales, allowing them to acheive a sound that's truly their own.
