Emerging in 2004 from Melbournes independent punk / hardcore scene and inspired by the spirit and drive of bands like Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker and Against Me!, A Death In The Family have succeeded in breathing life and excitement into an often tired and generic punk rock sound. Their debut album "This Microscopic War" was released in 2006 on Poison City Records, and as a precursor to it's follow up, due out in February 2009, this December Resist will release This Microscopic War on vinyl, this being the first time on vinyl format.
