Vanishing Life's ranks include Walter Schreifels (Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand), Zach Blair (Rise Against), and Jamie Miller and Autry Fulbright (...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead), but the names never supersede the feeling, and once familiarity begins to fade, there are new depths to be plumbed. "People Running" is alternately English punk-strut and New York hardcore stomp but not without Schreifels' trademark, melodic underpin, while the band's namesake track emits the kind of frantic energy that thrives in a kinetic live space - driving, jolting, equal parts tension and release.
