Since forming on Victorias Mornington Peninsula five years ago, CARPATHIAN have been an indestructible force on unstable ground. Hampered by incessant line-up changes, theyve nonetheless managed to assert their dominance at the forefront of the local hardcore pack.
Spending the first half of 2008 intensely writing songs for their new album, in May they converged upon Getaway Recording Studios with producer Jay Maas (Shipwreck, Verse), to record "Isolation". Different from Nothing To Lose, the focus of the intensity has shifted to a darker, harder punishment comparable with the work of The Hope Conspiracy, Shipwreck, Tragedy, and Modern Life Is War. In every facet, Isolation is an intensely cathartic experience.
