Jawbox, one of the most groundbreaking bands in emo punk / underground indie rock, returned in 2019 with a few live shows in the United States. "The Revisionist" features the two Jawbox classics "Grip" and "Consolation" (both from 1991 Album Grippe) and a cover version of the Wire song "Lowdown" in a revised version.
